Join the World Heritage of Jewish Culture Sponsorship

During the first edition of Yddish Movie Art. Festival we showed the films presented for the very first time after 1939

The films such as:

Slubowanie
Za grzechy
Bezdomni

and some documentaries made in August 1939 as well. Those films made in the ancient polish towns with taking part of the jewish population, have been watching with a lot of emotion and the great interest by the public.

We would like to keep presenting the masterpices of Yddish cinema which is possible only thank to our involvment and devotion to the jewish culture.

Also, we would like to get you acquainted with this very neglected event (jewish cinematography) in the history of the world movie.

So, we are appealing to you for help and generosity so that we can find these old lost Yddish films made in Poland.

Our Faundation, collaborating with the National Film Archive and Steven Spielberg’s Film Archive has been looking for Yddish films from all over the world.

Each film costs about 35 000 zlotys but any aamount will be accepted.

We are currently collecting money for:

Documentaries from Kolbuszowa, Sokolowa, and from all polish territory made after 1939 ( Lithuania, Horodek, Ranizow)
The feature-lenth film ,,Wilenska legenda”

For the sponsoring entreprises and private people our Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Culture Heritage insure:

advertising during the next edition of the Festival that will be
held in 2007
adverising on the Festival and our Foundation website ( logos and information about sponsoring enterprises)
Logos and names of the sponsoring people on the roll of film.
